Ranchi: The Ranchi Municipal Corporation (RMC) has identified 48 decimals of govt land at Tamtam Toli in ward number 13 for setting up a material recovery facility (MRF) to process waste collected from ward numbers 11, 12, and 13.Inspecting the site on Wednesday, additional municipal commissioner (AMC) Sanjay Kumar directed officials to remove dilapidated structures, clear encroachments, and begin construction soon.Five MRFs are operational in the city, while work is under way at six other locations. The proposed expansion will take the total number of centres to 12.
