CHENNAI: PMK president Anbumani Ramadoss on Friday urged the Tamil Nadu govt to immediately institute an inquiry commission and order a probe by the DVAC into alleged corruption surrounding book procurement for the newly established Periyar Arivulagam in Coimbatore.In a statement on Friday, Anbumani said corruption in matters relating to education and public libraries was completely unacceptable.Highlighting that libraries are meant to build an enlightened society by housing useful, knowledge-advancing literature, he condemned spending public funds on obscure and unhelpful books.
