Hubballi/Chitradurga: BJP Mahila Morcha activists staged protests in Hubballi and Chitradurga on Monday against state Congress govt’s increase in milk prices, demanding an immediate rollback and warning of intensified agitation.Ladwa said the organisation did not oppose incentives for milk producers, but govt should fund them instead of burdening consumers. She questioned imposing costs on people to implement free schemes.Mohan said govt should support farmers through minimum support prices rather than impose additional costs on consumers. Mahila Morcha executive committee member Shyamala Shivaprakash criticised increases in petrol prices and Bengaluru Metro fares, alleging that govt had failed to ensure development.
