Bengaluru: A govt official approached police after a misleading video, allegedly created by mixing unrelated CCTV footage with visuals from her official functions, was circulated on YouTube and Facebook, falsely showing her in an intimate situation and damaging her reputation.According to the complaint filed by Aisha (name changed), a resident of central Bengaluru, the video was repeatedly shared online, causing her mental distress. The 38-year-old official provided eight social media links, including videos on YouTube and posts/videos on Facebook, where the content was circulated.The complainant sought police help in removing the videos and appropriate action against those involved in creating and circulating the content.
