Times News NetworkKanpur: A truck driver died after his speeding vehicle crashed into a wall on the DFC overbridge along the Kannauj-Bharathna route in Etawah district early on Wednesday, police said.Ashok Singh Bhadauria (52), a resident of Aheti village in Bhind district, Madhya Pradesh, was transporting sacks of cattle feed from Lucknow to Gwalior when the accident occurred near Chitbhavan outpost.Ekdil police reached the spot after being alerted by passersby and pulled the truck driver out after considerable effort. His body was sent for post-mortem.Station House Officer Vikram Singh Chauhan said police suspected the driver may have dozed off, causing the truck to go out of control and hit the wall. The matter is under investigation.
