Thiruvananthapuram: A 35-year-old woman was found hanging inside her house at Thachode Paippinmoodu near Varkala on Friday, just 11 days after her second marriage.The deceased was identified as Jisha, a native of Ayiroor.Jisha was found hanging from a window around 11am, police said. Her husband and children were at home when the incident occurred. Family members and others rushed her to Varkala taluk hospital. However, she was declared dead at the hospital.Police suspect it to be a case of suicide. The exact circumstances and reasons that led to her death are yet to be established. However, police sources said family issues that reportedly emerged following her second marriage could have been a factor behind the incident.Jisha’s first husband, Sarath, had died in a road accident abroad around one-and-a-half years ago. Following his death, she was living with her two children. She subsequently married Ajinadesan, a native of Varkala, at Guruvayur on Oct 20.Ayiroor Police have registered a case of unnatural death and initiated an investigation. The body was taken to Paripally medical college for postmortem.
