Garhwa: An 11-year-old girl, Palak Kumari, of Kolua village in Garhwa drowned in a check dam located of Tandwa on Thursday, police said. Palak had come to her grandmother’s house last Wednesday to celebrate Dashehra. She had gone to the dam with her friends for a bath. The body was handed over to her relatives after the post-mortem examination, police added.
