Times News NetworkKanpur: With the object of making the general public legally aware and empowered, a mega legal literacy and service camp will be organised by the District Legal Services Authority in the city on Nov 1.According to Abhinav Tiwari, full-time secretary of DLSA, the camp will be held under the chairmanship of district judge Anmol Pal. An important meeting with administrative officials, presided over by the district judge, was held on Wednesday to discuss preparations for the camp.He said the main objective of the camp is to provide the general public with information about govt’s public welfare schemes through various administrative departments and to ensure that eligible beneficiaries receive the benefits of these schemes. Stalls would be set up by the departments concerned for this purpose. Additionally, women present at the camp would be made aware of the ‘Mission Shakti’ campaign by being provided with information about it.…………….eom
